BMW owners from miles around meet
up at the Shoulder of Mutton in Fordham every 3rd Sunday
lunchtime in the month.
AJS and Matchless Owners Club
meet on the first Wednesday of the month from 7.30pm at the
Donkey and Buskin in Layer.
.....and, of course, as if you didn't
know, bikers of all persuasions meet up on the village green
in nearby Great Bentley every Wednesday evening.
A little further out try the CENTRAL
KIOSK in Walton on Naze Essex (at the end of the High
Street) every weekend. A great place for a run out to and
obviously for ice creams and teas.
7th September 2008: Essex Air
Ambulance Motorcycle Run
It is with great excitement that the Essex
Air Ambulance fundraising team announces the date of the ninth annual
Essex Air Ambulance Motorcycle Run.
On Sunday 7th September 2008 participants
will once again leave Ford Dunton Technical Centre and make their way
to historic Harwich. As in 2007 the run promises to be a fantastic
event for bike fans, bike riders and the general public alike. The
2007 run smashed all previous records, raising in excess of
£35,000 for the county’s life-saving helicopter. We need
you to help us go one better once again this year!
