This web site is a record of the family of Tom Jephcott.
It brings together many lines of descent, the Jephcott line in particular, traceable back by ten generations, to at least 1676.
It concentrates on Tom's descent from the 32 individuals who were Tom's great great great grandparents. At the moment, we only know 29 of them, although we can take him back to the 17th century with the Jephcott family.

We can comfortably conclude that Tom has a seven eighths English ancestry, with an eighth part of German extraction given to him by his great grandfather Harold Johann Voss. We have found no Scottish, Welsh or Irish ancestry and the mystery of where the Seatons got their dark skinned complexions from, is just that - a mystery!
