THE HALFORD FAMILY
Our Halfords seem to have been a Gloucester family, although we are struggling with this at the moment.
76 William Halford. All we know of William is that he was a farmer and that he was still alive in 1859, when his son was married. As his son was born in Devon, could he have been farming in Devon?
38 George William Halford. He was born in 1842 in Devon and he married 39 Mary Maria Louisa Gwynn and they had two children, 19 Ellen Maria and William George Thomas. During his life he was described as a glover in 1859, a glover's clerk in 1861 and a time keeper in 1871. Their daughter Ellen Maria married 18 Henry John Innis in 1882.
